The ground rules for ordering from us — quotes, proof approval, artwork rights, and the legal basics.
Updated June 2026
When you place an order, these terms apply. None of it is surprising, but it's worth reading once so we're on the same page.
A quote we send you is good for the period stated on it, typically thirty days. Prices can move with material and freight costs, so a quote that's gone stale may need to be refreshed before we run the order. The quote covers the items, quantities, and decoration we discussed; changing those changes the price. Placing an order against a quote means you accept the pricing and these terms.
Before we produce anything, we send you an artwork proof. You are responsible for checking it carefully — the spelling, the logo, the layout, the size and placement of the decoration. Read it the way you'd read a contract, because in effect it is one. If a word is misspelled in the file you approve, that's what we'll engrave.
Once you approve the proof, the order goes into production and can't be changed or canceled. We commit materials and machine time the moment you sign off, so there's no window to swap the design or adjust the count after that point. If you're unsure about anything on the proof, ask before you approve it, not after.
When you send us a logo or design to put on your glassware, you're confirming that you have the right to use it. You represent that the artwork is yours or that you're authorized to reproduce it, and that printing it doesn't infringe anyone else's trademark or copyright. We produce what you approve in good faith; responsibility for the content of the artwork stays with you.
We stand behind our work and will replace or correct anything that's defective or that doesn't match the approved proof. Beyond that, our responsibility for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses — things like lost sales or missed events — that might follow from a delay or a problem with a shipment. This doesn't take away any rights you have under law that can't be waived.
These terms are governed by the laws of the state where Top Shelf Supply House operates, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising from an order is handled in that jurisdiction.
Questions about any of this? Get in touch and we'll explain it in plain terms before you order.
